This will be a busy year, with the club holding not only our own events, but playing a part in holding the State Dressage, Combined Training and Horse Trials in July, so we ask that families are forthcoming with support with canteen hours, working bee help, donations, sponsorship, anything to help the club and to also complete levy criteria.
The first sign on day for 2011 will be Saturday 5th February 2011 (am, times to be onfirmed) and the second day will be Sunday 20th February 2011, the 20th will also be our first muster.
If you are an existing member re-signing you can fill in the forms and post them to PO Box 218 Burpengary 4505 or drop them to the Secretaaryand direct credit your money to WBC Narangba 034114 110959 Burpengary Pony Club General Account. Please record your receipt No. on your paperwork and your surname as a reference.
For any new members, the committee is in the process of formatting a more user friendly system of recording hours completed with our compulsory levy criteria, and this will be finalised at our AGM, date to be advised.
Please remember that from 1st January 2011 it will be compulsory to wear a body protector in the cross country phase of any event.

Congratulations to all our riders who competed successfully at the 2011 Zone Teams Dressage Championships

Charlotte Baker, Taylah Dossetto, Elizabeth Ballard and Courtney O'Grady 13 to under 17 years Champions.
Congratulations to our riders at 2010 Sporting States who did so well.
Formal Gymkhana
10 yrs & Under Shania Lyons 1st overall, Rebecca Brown 2nd Overall, Olivia Farrell 5th overall all three girls were on the Zone 26 ream that won overall from the day. Shania also made it onto the State Team. 13 - 14 years Nissa Lennon 10th Overall. Associates Jess Somerfielld 7th Overall.
Sporting Gymkahana
10 years & Under Rebecca Brown 2nd Overall, Olivia Farrell was 5th in the bending and keyhold and 8 in SPF. 11 & 12 years Keilan Cox 1st Overall.

the formal Gymkhana and the sporting gymkhana, Zone Team Champion and
had the highest point score for Zone 26 in the Sporting.
Thanks to a grant from the QLd Government Community Gambling Benefit Fund there are now and additional 34 yards at the grounds. Gary Bryce and Mark Reid have done a wonderful job building the yards.
BURPENGARY HUNTER TRIAL 1 AUGUST 2010 - RESULTS
From the 1st January 2011 it will be compulsory to wear a body protector in the cross country phase of any event.
The BPC committee recommends that all riders using the cross country course wear a body protector.
Have you checked your helmet lately - is it in good condition and less than 5 years old -if not you should replace it.
You should also replace your helmet immediately any time you have a fall where the helmet impacts the ground.
